Dr. Dionisio Trejo is an innovative force in pediatric care with exceptional skills and contagious enthusiasm.
He obtained a Bachelor of Science from SUNY-Downstate in 1999 and practiced as Physician Assistant for 6 years before going on to complete his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from RUTGERS – New Jersey Medical School in 2010. He completed his Residency training in Paediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Jacobi Medical Center Program in New York City, USA in 2013.
Since completing his training, Dr. Trejo has practiced at fantastic community health centers and medical institutions such as Adelante Healthcare, Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH), Banner Health, Yale New Haven Health-Bridgeport Hospital, Optimus Health Care and Open Door Family Medical Centers.
Dr. Trejo’s professional accomplishments include board certification from the American Board of Pediatrics and active medical licenses in Arizona, New York, and Namibia. He tirelessly stays abreast of evidence-based knowledge to ensure patients benefit from the latest medical breakthroughs.
Dr. Trejo is married to his supportive Namibian wife Dr. Izona Bock who together have two active young children. In July 2022, they made the decision to return to Namibia to be closer to their loved ones. As a result, in July 2023, they established a private practice, embarking on a new and fulfilling adventure in Africa.
As they embark on this new chapter, they are filled with excitement and dedication to serving our community and striving for excellence in healthcare.
